RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo has completed the signing of Colombia international midfielder Jorge Carrascal from Dynamo Moscow.
The 27-year-old agreed to a four-year deal with the Brazilian Serie A club after Flamengo reportedly agreed to a transfer fee of 12 million euros (around 14 million U.S. dollars).
"The Colombian's main characteristic is his versatility," Flamengo said in a statement on its official website. "He is extremely technical and adapts to several attacking positions, highlighting his dribbling and excellent vision."
Carrascal made 64 appearances across all competitions for Dynamo Moscow following his 2023 move from CSKA Moscow.
He is Flamengo's fourth signing of the current Brazilian mid-season transfer window, joining Saul, Emerson Royal and Samuel Lino. ■
